Tabloid the National Enquirer says that all the stuff about Justin's alleged child with Mariah Yeater has made him really insecure about the relationship. They say "He's been on edge thinking Selena might leave him."
So, naturally, Selena "wants to get him a ring to show that she's with him for the long haul. Even Justin's mom Pattie is in on the secret." Pattie is reportedly really happy because she "thinks Justin will feel more secure, and she'll be able to talk them into putting off a wedding and kids."
